SLEEP and mental health - A COMPLEX LINK
There's a close relationship between sleep and mental health. Living with a mental health problem can affect how well you sleep, and poor sleep can have a negative impact on your mental health. This bi-directional relationship is affected by many factors but if you feel you are sleeping too much or too little, it is possible that this is an early warning of a possible mental health problem and it would be good to talk to someone about it.
